WHere is a simplified interpretation of a cocktail found on our latest drinks list. It's a batch premix that's packed with the essence of the holiday season, rendering it excellent for your festive gathering. Save the extra citrus syrup for brunch beverages, sweets, or for more rounds of the drink.

Yields 10 guests
Ingredients for the Clementine Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g fine sugar
For the Premix (yields 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (see above)
Whole cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Directions
For the Cordial: Put the listed ingredients into a pan, bring to a simmer, agitating until the sugar dissolves. Next, take off the heat and leave to cool down completely. Decant into a clean bottle, seal keeping it chilled, it can be stored for around a month.
Preparing the Batch Mix: Mix all the liquid ingredients into one big jug, leave to sit for an hour, then pass it through , ideally through a fine cloth, to ensure it's completely strained.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml of the cocktail base into your cocktail shaker containing ice, and agitate lightly for one minute until cold. Filter into a frosted cocktail glass or similar, decorate with the cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a quick spritz with the mandarin essence above the glass.
